I love diversity in my art doll creations and aim to keep my dolls different and interesting.
Here is another cluster of dolls I have made. I always seem to be tweaking my designs and patterns all because I love to ingrain individuality, personality and of course add to them a soul of their very own!

Jumping straight out of the pages of her very own comic book is "Kara Zor-El" the strong and powerful girl sent to earth to be raised by her cousin the man of steel... Superman!

Supergirl has been created in a unique & individual style of Pop Art. This style truly brings a comic to life and really accentuates all features.

All my art dolls come beautifully packaged in a window box with a Certificate of Authenticity and a complementary doll stand.

Her clothing has been originally designed, and made from high quality fabrics and tulle.
Her glamorous hair is made from soft textured yarn that has been felted and hand stitched into place.
Tiffany's face is drawn and painted completely free hand using mixed media.
She has been lovingly handmade with the utmost care & attention to detail.

She also comes with a removable sarong.

Okay so I have been SUPER slack with keeping up with my blog...shame on me and hugest apologies!!!
So many new dolly's have been created since my last post that I'd love you all to see... but I wont overload you with all in one post. Soooo I will break things up and post a few at a time :)

The Joker - Heath Ledger Tribute

The Joker visited Canada!!!! YAY!!
I was so excited that my art doll got to be apart of such a great event amongst so many other awesome talented doll artist, just amazing!

I was lucky enough to get some fantastic shots of The Joker on display.

I'm so happy to report that The Joker now resides in a private collectors home :)

Hello again,

Here is an update on what's been happening in my world of art dolls!!!

Firstly my newest member to my art doll resume has come together beautifully and am so happy to announce that 'Our Alice and The Grinning Cheshire Cat" has been completed.

Who says you can't be a practical, no-nonsense kind of girl but still obsess over looking your best while on an adventure?

Our Alice has been busy chasing the White Rabbit who was in such a bother over being late that he didn't even realise he dropped his pocket watch. Lucky Our Alice was following him anyway or it would have been such an inconvenience in trying to return it since she was trying to get anywhere but here! The quirky Cheshire Cat is helping her out in the directions department although going this way or that is just a little too confusing...maybe she should just sit down and have a nice cup of tea to ponder over it all...

Details: Our Alice stands approximately 30cm in height.
She is a original pattern and a jointed style doll using a bead for the joints.
Her clothing has been originally designed along with the cheeky Cheshire Cat who was created just for her. All of which are made from high quality fabrics.
Our Alice's hair is made from soft synthetic that has been hand stitched and glued into place.
The White Rabbits pocket watch contains a tiny portrait that is an original sketch.
Our Alice's face, stockings, shoes as well as the Cheshire Cat have been drawn and painted completely free hand using mixed media. They have been lovingly handmade with the utmost care & attention to detail.

I'm now working on another classic beauty....
