Dolly Recap <3

Well I have been busy creating lots of new art dolls along with a few custom beauties that are now happily with their private collectors.
Here is a recap of some of my past dolls :)

Wondering Alice - Curious Collection

Wondering Alice, is an artistic interpretation encompassing special elements that is... Wonderland!

Alice is wearing a special gift from the Mad Hatter and is holding a Tea cup from her very own Unbirthday Tea Party. She has picked up the White Rabbits Pocket Watch, which has a little guest The Butterfly.

A little ankle-biter Singing Flower has grown attached to her and the Queen of Hearts has left her mark on Alice's apron. She is accessorised with a memento of the Painted Roses. A stole-away sneaky, tricky, cheeky Cheshire Cat is up to mischief hiding out in Alice's Tea Cup!
Alice cant seem to stop reflecting on her wonderful and crazy time in wonderland.

Alice stands approximately 34cm in height.
She has been made from high quality fabrics and uses a a mix of soft textured straight and wavy yarn for her hair.
Her clothing is hand stitched and originally designed.
Alice's hat and tea cup is handmade from Papier-mâché.
Alice's face is drawn and painted completely free hand using mixed media.
She has been lovingly handmade with the utmost attention to detail.

Catrina Sugar - Sweet Skulls Collection

Meet "Catrina Sugar"
My OOAK Original Sugar Skull, Art Doll.

So much work went into her design from her face to her hair and clothing! I hope you like her :)

This art doll was inspired by Dia de los muertos (day of the dead) and sugar skulls.
The entire doll has been chalked, shoes, face and body tattoos have been drawn an painted completely free hand using acrylics.
Finished doll is lightly sealed with a fixative spray.

Catrina Sugar's hair has been hand felted and stitched into place. I have made satin flowers which have been added to her hair as well as to her dress.
Her costuming is an original design and pattern that was created just for Catrina.

Regina Opulence

This is my very first OOAK Original Art Doll I ever made and was so pleased with the outcome.

She stands 12" high. Her face is drawn and painted completely freehand and clothing is all original patterns and designs that have been hand stitched along with her hair and embellishments.

Eudora Armour

Semi-Custom OOAK Cloth Art Doll.She stands approx. 12" high and her face was carefully hand painted using mixed media.

Costuming is an original design and pattern using beautiful fabrics. Her hair has been styled , hand felted and stitched into place.

Scarlet Ruby

Semi-Custom order art doll.

She stands approx. 12" tall.

I hope you liked going back in time to some of my earlier dolls.

Okay so I have been SUPER slack with keeping up with my blog...shame on me and hugest apologies!!!
So many new dolly's have been created since my last post that I'd love you all to see... but I wont overload you with all in one post. Soooo I will break things up and post a few at a time :)

The Joker - Heath Ledger Tribute

The Joker visited Canada!!!! YAY!!
I was so excited that my art doll got to be apart of such a great event amongst so many other awesome talented doll artist, just amazing!
